These terms govern your use of the OnTheTown mobile app and getonthetown.com (together, "the Service"), operated by JH Enterprises Limited Liability Company ("JH Enterprises LLC," "we," "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
OnTheTown aggregates listings for events happening in US cities and shows them to you in one place. The Service is free to use and does not require an account.
This is the most important thing on this page. Event details — dates, times, prices, venues, availability, and whether an event happens at all — come from third-party sources including ticketing platforms, venue websites, tourism calendars, and businesses that submit their own listings. We aggregate this information automatically and do not independently verify it.
Event details change frequently, and listings may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Always confirm details on the official ticket or venue page before you travel to or pay for an event. We are not responsible for events that are canceled, rescheduled, sold out, mispriced, or misdescribed, and we are not a party to any transaction between you and a venue, promoter, or ticket seller.
Some ticket links in the Service are affiliate links. If you purchase tickets after tapping one, we may earn a commission from the ticket seller at no additional cost to you. This never changes the price you pay, and it does not influence which events we show you or the order in which they appear. Promoted listings, where they exist, are identified as such.
If you submit an event through the app's Business section, you represent that you are authorized to promote that event and that the information you provide is accurate. We may review, edit, decline, or remove any submission for any reason, including inaccuracy, spam, or content we consider inappropriate. Submitting a listing does not guarantee publication or any particular placement.
Paid promoted placement, when offered, is subject to separate terms provided at the time of purchase. Promoted placement affects visibility only and does not constitute an endorsement of the event or business by us.
The Service links out to ticket pages, venue sites, and map providers we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, or practices, and their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave the Service.
The OnTheTown name, logo, design, and original content are ours. Event titles, descriptions, and images belong to their respective owners and are displayed for informational purposes, attributed to their source.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that event information will be correct.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JH Enterprises LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, wasted travel or ticket costs, or missed events, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll revise the effective date above, and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
